“Your life should not be a game of follow the leader. Pave your own path and DANCE all over it!”

Battini family photoI am a California girl, born and raised, who took a fairly unconventional path to a very conventional career. I’m lucky that I found a goal I was so passionate about early on. I knew by the 7th grade that I wanted to become a doctor, and by my second year of medical school I knew I wanted to be a part of the vast realm of Neurology. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to learn and develop my skills in this intriguing specialty. Outside of the hospital you’ll find me spending time with family and friends (when possible), dancing, swimming (or other water activities), cooking (and eating), traveling (when I have the time to), or curling up with a good book and a fuzzy blanket. The beautiful views and the warm people of the natural state have been so inviting, I am very excited to be a part of the UAMS team for my Neurology Residency!
