Ayman Al-Salaimeh, MD
I was born in Saudi Arabia and completed my studies in Jordan and graduated from Jordan University of science and technology in 2008. After graduation, I started neurology residency in Jordan and finished 2 years over there before I joined UAMS.
My mentors in Jordan, Dr. Al-Refai and Dr. El-Salem, who are also UAMS graduates, strongly recommended the program to me. The neurology program at UAMS has provided me with clinical knowledge and adequate practice to approach both common and uncommon neurological conditions.
Our program has attendings from different subspecialties in neurology, is highly active in recruiting further faculty members and dedicated towards teaching and supporting research for residents.
I really enjoy working at UAMS as it has a very friendly environment. The state of Arkansas is a great place live in and offers several outdoor activities.
Life after Residency: Vascular Neurology Fellow, University of Massachusetts, Worcester, MA
Life after Fellowhip: Attending Neurologist, University of Kentucky
