Aline Herlopian, MD (Chief Resident)
I am of Armenian descent and was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. I attended the American University of Beirut for my undergraduate training, and received BS in Biology and completed medical school in the same institution. After receiving my Medical Doctorate degree, I did two years of research in Multiple Sclerosis and published multiple papers on chronic cerebrovascular venous insufficiency, stem cell therapy and predictors of quality of life in Multiple Sclerosis. I joined the UAMS residency training program pursuing my dream in neurology. I plan to pursue my fellowship in Epilepsy and afterwards an academic career along with clinical research.
I enjoy playing the piano, cooking, painting, watching History channel especially documentaries about ancient civilization and reading especially Nietzsche.
