Stephen Jones, MD

I spent most of my early years growing up in a town called The Woodlands, which is just north of Houston, Texas. I went to medical school in Houston, and before that, I did my undergraduate studies in Physiology with a minor in Spanish at Oklahoma State University.  Go Cowboys!

Besides Oklahoma and Texas, I have also spent time living in Calgary, Canada and Anchorage, Alaska.  I married my wife, Kathryn, in 2015, and one month later, we moved to Little Rock. We love living in Arkansas and exploring all it has to offer. On a nice day, you might find us climbing Pinnacle Mountain or somewhere along the river. When the weather isn’t agreeable, we like to stay inside and watch Netflix or play video games together. We also stay pretty busy with our small group from church.

Since I am a Child Neurology resident, I will only be working with adults for a set amount of time in my training program. I really am looking forward to everything that I can learn from the adult side of things, but part of me can’t wait until I get to work with just children! I have not yet decided what I will do once I have completed my residency, but I am sure I will enjoy whatever it is.  I am very thankful to have a wonderful family that has supported and encouraged me every step of the way.
