Sarah Cobb, MD
Having been born and raised in De Queen, a very small town in southwest Arkansas, I had a great childhood and loved growing up in a small town where I knew everyone. For undergraduate studies, I attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas where I majored in Biology and minored in Psychology. I then attended UAMS for medical school and became interested in Neurology during my third year of medical school while on my Neurology rotation. I found the conditions I observed that month to be very fascinating and for the first time during medical school felt I had found something I could actually see myself doing for the rest of my career. Choosing a residency program in Arkansas was a no-brainer for me, as I love Arkansas and plan to stay and practice here.
Outside of medicine there are many things I enjoy. My wonderful husband, to whom I have been married since May 2008, and I welcomed our first child, Solomon, in May 2015. We love to travel when we have the time and have many places on our bucket list we want to visit. I also enjoy reading good books, spending time outdoors, playing with our two dogs, but my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family.
