Natasha Hameed, MD
Though I was born here in the United States, I’ve lived most of my life in Lahore, Pakistan, a city known for its extravagant architecture and distinctive cultural cuisines. My family moved back to the USA in 2014 and decided to make Little Rock, AR our new home. It has been quite a change coming from the hustle and bustle of Lahore to the serene land of Little Rock. However, everything has worked out overwhelmingly in my favor and I feel grateful for the opportunity to begin a medical career in my current hometown.
I grew up in a family of doctors, so choosing medicine as a career was a given. Neurology was a personal interest of mine, given that mysterious things have always caught my attention and I believe the brain to be the most intriguing organ of the body.
I look forward to being a part of UAMS for the next four years. The Neurology physicians at UAMS are not only just amazing physicians, but great people as well! Little Rock itself has plenty to offer; from its outdoor activities to its exquisite variety of cuisines. I feel fortunate to be where I am today.
